Congratulations on attending the CNV/DET course for Law Enforcement Officers. This website has been designed and created to certify candidates in completing the training and provide an ongoing educational resource on threat assessment and de-escalation.
To complete your certification, review the course content, all of which is posted in long-from on the tabs of this website and in more topical sections under the headings Background Sub-Routines, CNV Components, and DET Levels. If you have questions or need clarification on concepts, please email them to lawenforcementcnv@gmail.com.
After your review, start the assessment process. There are two parts.
Part One: Scenario Assessments. There are seven different scenarios assessments posted. Choose four from the seven and respond to the questions after reviewing the video. Feel free to watch the scenario as often as needed.
Part Two: Content Assessments. There are four assessments addressing content from this training. Take all four and submit.
Make sure your name is included in each assessment along with your address and email address on the last (fourth) content assessment, CDM and SLIDE Content Assessment.
You will be notified of your successful completion and will receive your certificate of completion in the mail from GuardianTactics.
